My Journey

My interest in UX/UI came from an innate curiosity for innovation - a trait I learnt about myself during my time as an architectural designer. I would construct blueprints that are personalized to my clients wants and taste, given law constraints (both legal and in terms of physics). At first thought, the transition from architectural design to UX/UI design was a big one, but I noticed more similarities than differences between the two.

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts” Aristotle.

Both seemingly different industries incorporate this philosophy, in that individual design elements have no value on their own. But together, they create something unique. Like how I drafted homes in my architectural past, I now find myself creating digital homes for products.

My Design Philosophy

Like Aristotle, I have my philosophy: I create for both practicality and aesthetics, I create for the ephemeral moments in the digital-human interaction, and I create an experience that is a reflection of your brand. I believe that poor design shouldn’t be a distraction that gets in the way of what matters most: your product.
